What is an events manager?
An events manager is a professional with an eye for detail who loves a list or ten(!) and who is responsible for planning, organising, and coordinating events. They handle all aspects of event planning, from the initial discussions around themes, budget, and guest numbers to logistics and execution. Coordinating logistics: We handle all of the logistics involved in planning an event, such as arranging transportation, booking locations, and coordinating with event staff. We will work with you and the venue to ensure there are enough people for the event to run smoothly.
Managing the budget: Together with you, we are responsible for staying within budget and making sure that all expenses are tracked and reported.
Marketing and promotion: We work to promote the event and attract attendees, this includes creating marketing materials, and managing social media and other platforms.
Execution: On the day of the event, we will be there with you to ensure everything runs smoothly.

2022 saw us work on a Tollywood blockbuster film that filmed in various counties including Suffolk and Essex. Clare worked as the Assistant Locations Manager and did the following:
Once the scouts had sent their location suggestions to the director and locations were agreed she contacted the locations, negotiated rates, booked the dates and times, and finalised contracts. Clare got the locations locked down.
Clare liaised with police forces regarding the use of police costumes and dummy weapons as well as getting CAD reports in place.
Clare prepared risk assessments and method statements.
She liaised with highways and authorities to get permission to film including for equipment such as drones etc.
She helped out on set to ensure the day ran smoothly, working alongside key staff including producers and directors.
Clare organised any last-minute requests from the production team.
As a team of highly organised individuals with attention to detail and great relationship-building skills, we are well-placed to work on productions.
